Library Technology Lending Program

The Library lending program is available to registered UC Berkeley students including:

  • Short-term loans of Dell Latitude, Lenovo ThinkPads and MacBook Airs from 4 hours to 14 days
  • Short-term loans of accessories, such as adapters, chargers, headphones, projectors and more

If none of these options work for you...

...or you want to purchase your own device, we recommend looking into Student Discounts on Technology through retailers like Apple, Dell, Lenovo and more.

If helpful, you may apply for a Cost of Attendance Adjustment through the Financial Aid & Scholarships Office for up $3,000 to purchase a computer once every three years. If approved, this may possibly come as a grant, but more often comes in the form of a loan.
