The STC and ASUC Office of the CTO proudly present its second showcase, Spark @ Cal: A Student Tech Fair, on March 13th, at Anna Head Alumnae Hall. This is an opportunity for an array of technology based student clubs, organizations, campus departments, and STF funded groups to showcase their projects. Learn about new developments and engage with innovation groups on campus and from our 2 speakers.

Caroline Winnett is a Berkeley Haas alumna and the executive director of SkyDeck, UC Berkeley’s startup accelerator. An an entrepreneur, Winnett previously led several startups, most recently as founder and CEO of BrandNeuro, a neuroscience-inspired marketing company. She is passionate about helping entrepreneurs with startup governance, organizational issues, marketing, and funding — all components required for companies to successfully launch. Under her leadership, SkyDeck has an extensive network of advisors, partners, faculty-in-residence, and investors.

Dennis Zhao is a recent graduate of UC Berkeley where he studied Computer Science. Currently, he is an APM at Twitter, where he works on the Explore tab and content discovery. He is one of the first class of Twitter's rotational APM program (Associate Product Manager), which started in 2016. At UC Berkeley, Dennis was a TA for CS61B and built a lecture watching platform that was used in select classes at UC Berkeley and the National University of Singapore. He tweets regularly about tech, music, and urban infrastructure (among other things) at @zhaomein.
