Student Discounts on Technology

Take advantage of discounts for students on popular devices and software

The Student Technology Fund has granted funding for a diversity of technology projects ranging from supporting the acquisition of a 3D printer for DeCals and club use to covering costs to host a workshop for students to gather and create video games that explore critical issues for the LGBT community. 

Submit a proposal to the Student Technology Fund to receive funding for: 

  • Applications and Software Development 
  • Commercial Software Licensing 
  • Hardware and Technology Equipment 
  • Investigative and Planning Projects 
  • Technology Events 
  • Training, Support, and Access to Technology Programs 

Individual students applying for funding must obtain a fiscal sponsor to administer awarded funds, such as a registered student group, academic department, or other campus functional unit.

DSP Student Technology Grant

CITRIS and the Banatao Institute

Support and opportunities for students to create information technology solutions for society's most pressing challenges

The Center for Information Technology Research in the Interest of Society (CITRIS) and the Banatao Institute create information technology solutions for society’s most pressing challenges. CITRIS and Banatao support students from concept to prototype through a variety of programs and labs that bring together multiple disciplines to address critical challenges. Plus, check out a 3D Printer through CITRIS Invention Lan's GoFab(link is external)program. Open to all Maker Pass Holders, the Invention Lab is offering a suite of 3D printers that are available for checkout to extend your creativity and making outside of the lab, into your living room, dorm, kitchen, cafe, or personal workspace.
